Is Somaliland a democratic country?
In my view and philosophy, Somaliland isn't a democratic country. It's indirect defacto constitutional monarchy, It's a proof of the way to elect seats in the country, but many people claim that the democratic process of the country's electoral system and the general structure of the society is a witness to the religion of Islam which has been promoted through democracy, but the matter is different. In 1960, when we got our independence from the British Empire, they did not give us any education about government building and how to manage a society that is under a colonial or a former British colony.I'm referring to these points as a form of government that was under the control of a monarchy that was far from the democracy we claim today, and was based on a divide and rule, the goal was to extend the reign of the queen from sunrise to sunset.
