Subject: A Peace Call Letter From Regional Peace Campaigners

Dear to all international and regional friends ones who support peace in the region.

On behalf of regional peace campaigners I declare today peace about the issue of the Sool region in Somaliland, is a matter for Somaliland, and it’s legitimacy, according to international law and united nations charter of self-determination, territorial integrity, and the right to secession.

“Self-determination became officially sanctioned after 1945, when it was include in the united nations Chapter, though it applied to existing states, not to peoples or national groups”.

It’s important to understand that the federal government of Somalia and regional administrations refrain from interfering. All those interested in politics and stability in the region must listen to the calls from the peace campaign in the Horn of Africa region. Somaliland is a self-governing state, came to be by will of the people and self-determination, after lost of independence in 1960, and it was reborn after the collapse of unity in 1991.

We want not to undermine the peace that exists in Somaliland in general, specially Sool region, the government should restore stability in the region, and the federal government of Somalia and regional member administrations shouldn’t increase the situation in the region of Sool by using ethnic and social discrimination.
